Rachel Galdino is also an active member of the Junior Auxiliary of McComb. In JA, she serves as an advocate for children's needs in our community. A major focus of JA is their contribution to the special needs camp, "Camp Sunshine" that takes place every July. JA also allows Mrs. Galdino to be involved in different projects such as "Fill up Build up" - feeding the hungry children, "Kind Kidz"-antibullying education, and "Bookshelf Boogie" - giving children access to reading.

Rachel Galdino is also the President of the ARC for her local chapter Southwest MS. She leads this group in our community during monthly meetings and plans activities for the members. This group is organized under the ARC of Mississippi, which is an organization that is an advocate for the rights for citizens of all ages with cognitive, intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families. The ARC encourages active citizenship and inclusion in every community.
