Rachel is the owner of EHH. She is also the parent of a special needs child and understands the importance of respite care as well as having that dependable and trustworthy person to provide these services. Rachel created this agency with the heart of a parent as well as the knowledge of a provider so that her agency can stand out in providing that personable relationship with families in the state of MS. Rachel has 20 years of experience in Pediatric Intensive Care, Neonatal Intensive Care, Pediatric Emergency Services, Pediatric Primary Care, and Labor and Delivery. She graduated from the University of AR for Medical Sciences with her Bachelors of Nursing, and received her Masters of Science in Nursing from Maryville University in Dec 2022 as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner.
Rachel is an enthusiastic and involved member of the community serving as a Life Member of the JA of McComb, where she champions the needs of underserved and special needs children and adults. She plays a big part in making “Camp Sunshine”, a special needs camp held every year in July, a success. She also serves as the President of the ARC for the Southwest MS Chapter. Through her role in the ARC, Rachel works with their parent organization to advocate for the rights of individuals of all ages with cognitive, intellectual, and developmental disabilities along with their families. Through her role, Rachel works to foster a supportive and inclusive community, encouraging active participation and citizenship for everyone.
EHH has partnered as a provider with the MS Association of IDD providers so that we can be actively involved in state legislation and have a good-standing relationship with the Dept of Mental Health. Embracing Hearts Healthcare takes an active part in advocating for individuals and families in the state of MS and provide excellence in care.
